Experimental animation
Projects must demonstrate meaningful use of animation as a creative or narrative tool.
Minimum duration: 60 seconds
Maximum duration: 4 minutes and 30 seconds
These limits are intended to ensure fairness among participants and allow consistent evaluation by the jury.
January – June: Free creative development period. No submissions or evaluations are required.
July – August: Soft phase with no mandatory activity, acknowledging seasonal and academic constraints.
September: Progressive activation phase, including reminders, guidance, and preparation for initial submission.
Early October: Initial submission and first evaluation. Participants submit an advanced version of their project (not necessarily final).
Mid-October to mid-November: General briefing and optional update window for preselected projects. Guidance is non-binding and aims to support final improvements.
Late November: Official Selection. The professional jury evaluates final versions and selects finalists per category.
December: Final deliberation, awards announcement, and official closure of the edition.
January – June: Free creative development period. No submissions or evaluations are required.
Participation is open to:

✅ No professional accreditation, studio affiliation, or prior experience is required.
