Submission Guidelines

Preparing your project for ANIMOTION

These guidelines explain what ANIMOTION accepts and how to prepare a submission that gets a fair, complete editorial review. Submitting is free.

What you can submit

Feature films, short films, television series, animated episodes, student films, independent productions, stop motion, traditional animation, 3D animation, motion graphics, experimental animation, game cinematics, and emerging techniques not listed here -- if it is animated, it is eligible.

Accepted video sources

Projects are linked, not uploaded directly: host your video with YouTube, Vimeo, Cloudflare Stream and provide the link when you submit.

Preparing your submission

Have a title, a short description, a full synopsis, a poster image, and accurate credits ready -- director, producer, and anyone else who worked on the project. A clear, honest synopsis helps curators understand your intent before they watch a single frame.

Editorial review timing

Every project is watched in full, so review takes real time -- we do not commit to a fixed turnaround, and we would rather review carefully than quickly. You can check your project's status at any time from your Creator Dashboard.

Ownership and rights

You keep every right to your work. Submitting to ANIMOTION only grants us permission to display your project in the showcase -- it is never a transfer of ownership, and never a production or distribution deal.
